Royal Marines Benevolent Fund

The RMBF was formed to relieve need, distress or hardship suffered by any person who is serving, has served or is a dependent of a Royal Marine, irrespective of rank. It also provides immediately on the death of either a serving Royal Marine, or a reservist on duty, a sum of money for the next of kin to help them cope with any pressing financial matters.

Sport and recreation are essential for young people and our mission is to give a ‘sporting chance’ to those in need. We achieve this by focusing on youth cricket in disadvantaged areas as well as sports and recreational equipment for young people with disabilities and special needs, including sports wheelchairs, specially adapted minibuses and sensory play areas.
